Strong fruit character exemplary of the style, fortified by a polished redwood aroma. A buoyant cup with a texture that moves like a canoe through still water.

Harvested and produced April 15, 2024 and finished roasting June 12, 2024. It was produced by Mr. Huang Yuan Cai on Wudon Mountain of Chaozhou City in Guangdong Province. It’s a three leaf and one bud pick of the Song cultivar growing at approximately 3,600 feet. “Song” here is a reference to the Chinese Song Dynasty of 960 to 1279.

Steeping Instructions

4 grams | 10-12 oz water |  195°F | Steep 4 min. 

Traditional Steeping – Use 6 grams of tea in a 150ml gaiwan and 195 degree water.

• 10 second rinse – Discard
• 1^st Steep – 20 seconds
• 2^nd Steep – 15 seconds
• 3^rd Steep – 30 seconds
• 4^th Steep – 60 seconds
• 5^th Steep – 2 minutes
