The distillation of the silent energy collected in the long life of an old tea plant. The cup is as fluid as a mountain stream with the stimulating aroma of wild grasses at high altitude. This clear, clean sweetness can only come at the request of a master craftsman.

This a specialty grade that can only be produced when the weather is just right during the peak season of January through April of Nuwaraeliya, the highest tea growing region of Sri Lanka. Produced April 10-16, 2024 by Lalith Premalal at the Pedro Estate, it’s a two leaf and a bud pick of original seedling plants growing at 6,100 feet! Lalith Premalal has been the estate manager at the Pedro/Lover’s Leap Estate for decades and is regarded as one of the best tea makers in Sri Lanka. Teas like this are an increasingly rare occurrence and we’re honored to be able to share it with you.
